The Tiangong 07 is also the first Hongqi model to feature a 384-line dynamically variable-focus LiDAR. Its “dynamic variable-focus" capability allows it to switch between long-range and wide-angle perception. At long range, it can detect objects up to 600 meters away with an angular resolution as fine as 0.05 degrees, while its wide-field perception helps improve environmental awareness in more complex scenarios.
During highway driving, the system can accurately identify a black tire lying on the road from up to 200 meters ahead.
